Over two decades, I've started and scaled companies in technology services, marketing agencies, digital publishing, and ecommerce. Three named to INC Magazine's Fastest Growing list. One seven-figure exit. MBA from Babson College — #1 entrepreneurship school in the world, 24 years running.
I live in San Diego, travel whenever the mood strikes, stay in shape, and spend real time on the things that give life meaning — relationships, learning, experiences, and building things worth building.
I write about the intersection of entrepreneurship, AI, and human flourishing — because I believe the best entrepreneurs aren't just building companies. They're building lives.
These days I spend most of my time thinking about two questions: how do entrepreneurs build real leverage in the age of AI, and what does a life well-lived actually look like when the old playbook stops working?
The first question drives my work at LVRG and Services That Scale — helping business owners build systems that create freedom instead of another job. The second drives Human Renaissance — a newer project exploring what matters most when technology handles the busywork and we're left to figure out the rest.
I write a weekly letter where I work through these ideas in public. It's part hard-won business lesson, part philosophical rabbit hole, part field notes from someone who's been building for 20+ years and still thinks the best part is ahead.
When I'm not building, I'm usually in San Diego with my family, working out, reading something that makes me rethink an assumption, or planning the next trip to somewhere I haven't been.
